Life's Interruptions
People enjoy daily routines in life. Going to work, spending time with family and friends, and hobbies that they love to pursue. Sometimes, unhealthy habits intertwine with those routines, such as overuse of alcohol or other substances. These habits can interrupt daily routines and turn into an obsession. Instead of looking forward to the weekend to spend time with healthy endeavors, the weekends could be a time to escape with the unhealthy obsession which could lead to addiction over time.
Whether you are looking to reduce or eliminate such unhealthy obsessions, my practice focuses on identifying the underlying roots of the issues utilizing a systems approach that identifies both internal and external influences. This knowledge for the client allows us to discover patterns in life that may need some adjustments.
Having been in the addiction field for over 15 years, I work with clients in a non-judgmental way, assisting clients on their journey back from the depths of their disease.
